Romsey Woodburners are an independent retailer of wood burning and multi fuel stoves. We offer a ‘one stop shop’ where you can find everything you need in one place.
This means that not only can we provide an installation service from our approved and experienced HETAS engineers, we can also offer advice and if needed, alter your existing fireplace to suit by our qualified bricklayers.
We also have various companion sets, log baskets, ash vacs, and accessories on display in our showroom.
If you are as passionate about quality and design as we are, then hopefully you like our stove choices, we have carefully selected the ones we feel are the best looking contemporary and traditional stoves out there.

Ray Sheppard - Always the first in.
Surveryor, installer and the boss (well he thinks he is!)
Ray previously had his own company in the building industry and was frequently asked to install Woodburners for his customers. This lead onto starting up Romsey Woodburners specialising in the solid fuel industry with his wife Angela. With the 30 years of building knowledge he can advise potential customers on all aspects of any project.
Interests outside of work; Shooting, fishing and the occasional glass of red wine (hic)
Angela Sheppard - The real boss!
Showroom manager and general Jill of all trades.
Angela worked as a teacher before embarking on her next career with Ray in the woodburning industry, gaining experience and knowledge along the way. From the office in the showroom Angela is the the nucleus of the business, linking between installers, manufacturers and customers and arranging surveys. Angela loves to interact with the customers and is a real people person.
Interests outside of work; Yoga, swimming, dogs, gardening and the occasional glass of Prosseco!

We went to the Romsey showroom and their staff were so helpful - they helped us pick out the right size wood burner for our space that was in our style. The workmen who came to rip out the old and install the new were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. They left everything very clean at the end of each day and did a great job, rebuilding the cavity and installing the new burner. The finished product looks great and we're so happy with it!
